FOOD SCIENCE- This is a lab based class that studies the chemical reactions in food preparation, the biological reasons for food, and safe food storage, consumption, packaging, and preservation.  This is a very hands-on class with food labs and cooking practice. 

CULINARY ARTS-Culinary Arts is a lab based class where students will learn the basics of cooking using safe practices and proper culinary techniques.  Students also learn about jobs in the industry and what it takes to have a successful career in culinary arts.  This is a very hands-on class with food labs and cooking practice.  We also analyze related careers and 21st century employability skills.

PRINCIPLES OF HOSPITALITY AND TOURISM-This class are a broad overview of careers and topics that deal with the hospitality and tourism industry. We do an in depth study of each segment of the Hospitality and Tourism Industry: 1. Food and Beverage Services 2. Lodging 3, Travel and Tourism 4. Recreation, Amusement and Attractions. We will also be involved in community service and what it means to be hospitable.    We will also analyze related careers and 21st century employability skills. 

HUMAN GROWTH AND DEVELOPMENT- This class is an overview of how people grow and develop, from conception all the way through life.  We analyze physical, moral, intellectual, emotional and social development.  We also study related careers and employability skills. 

FCCLA LEADERSHIP-This class helps students grow their leadership skills and FCCLA projects.
